The challenge
In 2017 Verb was salon-only, but third-party sellers were already moving gray-market units on Amazon, on inaccurate listings the brand did not control. Real revenue was happening, and it was misrepresenting the brand.
What we did
- Took control of the channel: official launch, gray-market listings replaced with accurate professional ones
- Engineered packaging for liquids, nesting and shrink-wrapping the 1-liter pump duos so they could not leak in transit
- Built and scaled a 70+ SKU catalog with margin-smart bundles like the two-pack Ghost Oil
- Ran inventory across Montreal and New Jersey warehouses and launched the Canadian marketplace
- Turned a bottle misprint into a relabel-and-save instead of scrapping pallets
The challenge
GoodPop’s organic, preservative-free freezer pops ship fine to a grocery shelf, but the retail pouch was never built for e-commerce. Sent as single units they developed pinhole leaks and spoiled inside the sealed pouch, invisible until the customer opened it.
What we did
- Launched the channel with accurate listings for an unusual shelf-stable format
- Engineered Amazon-specific packaging (corrugate and dunnage) that ended the damage reviews, and ran it 5+ years
- Defended the listings with test buys and the Brand Registry “materially different” process to stop gray-market damage
- Ran inventory at scale, near a truckload every couple of months at summer peak, hand-packed from a Dallas warehouse
- Wrote the SOPs so it ran without us
